Read right tutoring grew out of necessity. despite doctorate level training in learning theory and reading intervention strategies, dr. dee tadlock couldn’t explain why these strategies couldn’t help her own son become a successful reader. Read right is based on a theoretical model that maintains reading problems are caused when students construct a faulty neural network to guide the process of reading. Read right was developed by professor alex leff (ucl institute of cognitive neuroscience) to allow the therapeutic website to help people with hemianopic alexia to improve and test their reading ability from the comfort of their own homes.
