Home The Hope Program What is h.o.p.e.s.? h.o.p.e.s. (healthy outcomes through prevention & early support) is a joint effort by a coalition of north texas nonprofits aiming to create the best possible environment for children in dallas county to grow and thrive. The community of hope and intervention program is a dallas based nonprofit organization whose mission is to help homeless and disadvantaged men and women achieve lives of independence and self sufficiency. By helping provide inclusive spaces for at risk, homeless lgbtq youth (18 to 24), they hope to change the lives of those who experience high rates of conduct disorder, post traumatic stress, and suicidal behavior. Dallas hope’s transitional living center (tlc) is dual functioning: as stabilization (typically called emergency) and then to transitional living. as youth are stabilized out of their traumatic situation, they begin working to achieve goals they are proud to accomplish. The center is equipped with a library, learning center, life skill classes, a chapel, and a medical clinic, all on site. both women and children learn about jesus and the difference only he can make in their individual lives, and in the lives of their families. this is where hope begins. White rock center of hope provides basic needs assistance to address today’s needs (food pantry, clothing closet, and financial assistance to prevent eviction and utility disconnection) and personalized empowerment (financial education and employment services) to help build a better tomorrow.
