I just bought an early Homelite xl-12. It seems to have all of the early features. The brass fuel line with a wick, idle screw mounted directly on the carb, black lettering, early front handle with a square mounting, only two screw mounts for the muffler, and a metal air filter knob. Building on this, whats the Difference between homelite EZ and Super EZ automatics?.

Building on this, it quit having spark so I have been searching for retailers that carry old Homelite chainsaw parts so that I can rebuild the ignition. I had the same question. I believe through my research on line the only difference between the Super EZ and the EZ Automatic is the Automatic has automatic chain oiling.
Mine has a manual oiler. Hey All, I just picked up a "Homelite C 72" at a local garage sale. A nice lightly used saw just missing the chain. I did some research, this is a 80cc saw with a 18lb powerhead. In its day was this a big saw, was it considered a prosaw??? Any chance of finding a replacement bar to get away...
