Home Wcva Welcome world congress of veterinary anaesthesiology – founded 1982 – welcome to our new home!. We are excited to host the 2025 world congress of veterinary anaesthesia & analgesia (wcvaa) at the paris centre des congrès, france. The 14th wcva was to be held in 2021 in sydney, australia. however, due to covid 19 the congress was postponed and is now scheduled to be held in late march 2023. The first international congress of veterinary anaesthesia was held in 1982 and there have been congresses every three years since. the name was changed to the world congress of veterinary anaesthesiology in 1997 (wcva) and for consistency this is the title listed for all the congresses.
