Vail Veterans Program Provide military injured and their families with innovative and transformational programs that build confidence and improve lives. thanks to the support of our donors and sponsors, we helped change the lives of wounded veterans and their families. Programs range from the adventurous to the connective, including summer and winter therapeutic recreational programming, caregiver specific wellness events, veterans path to success, and empowerment training.
Vail Veterans Program The vail veterans program is provided free of charge to wounded warriors and their families giving them much needed time away from the hospital and offering them hope for the future. Vietnam war veterans day, we recognize the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of vietnam veterans and their families. established by the u.s. department of veterans affairs, this day marks march 29, 1973, when the last u.s. combat troops departed vietnam. we are proud to stand alongside vietnam veterans in honoring their legacy of service and. The vail veterans program brings 20 veterans to vail for a three day workshop that offers the space to dig deep and better understand one’s potential in life by defining their mission and discovering who they can be after their service and through navigating an injury. Vail Veterans Program The vail veterans program brings 20 veterans to vail for a three day workshop that offers the space to dig deep and better understand one’s potential in life by defining their mission and discovering who they can be after their service and through navigating an injury. Vail veterans program mission: provide military injured and their families with innovative and transformational programs that build confidence and improve lives. Since 2004, vvp has provided life changing events at no cost for over 4,700 wounded service members and their families, delivering over 12,000 program days, positively impacting the lives of our nation’s heroes. For over 20 years, the vail veterans program has helped injured members of military and their families heal by providing innovative and transformative programs that build confidence and transform lives. Vail veterans program stays engaged with our alumni by providing individual families with opportunities to return to vail or to travel to hawaii to continue on the healing journey and to reconnect with one another. These therapeutic programs are specifically designed to dramatically decrease the isolating effects of physical and mental wounds by bringing together service members who survived severe combat related injuries, their families and therapists.
