A combined arts centre open to the public 4 days a week providing creative workshops, resources, studio spaces, technical workshops, room hire, a crafty cafe and a range of community and partnership events and performances. Located just outside the lake district national park in the vibrant town of kendal, the home of ragtag arts is a haven of scrap, creativity and joy. at our fantastic site we have our wonderful scrapstore, a veritable treasure trove of recycled materials in all shapes and sizes that have been kindly donated and rescued from local businesses. Ragtag was set up in 2016 by brother and sister, josh and emily, each with over 12 years experience working in the arts. we are passionate about providing quality art experiences and raising environmental awareness. we aim to always be community focused, affordable and inclusive to all.
