On january 10, 2024, hud published a proposed rule in the federal register which would enable much needed revisions and updates to the requirements governing the community development block grant (cdbg) and indian cdbg (icdbg) programs.

The cdbg coalition consists of 32 national organizations which recognize cdbg’s contributions to people and places, and seek to strengthen the program to promote meaningful local led activities. The coalition supports the cdbg program’s mission to improve infrastructure, housing, services, and economic development in underserved communities.
