Global Data Dashboard Freedom Collaborative This map shows migration routes taken by survivors of human trafficking and migrants who experienced exploitation, created using collective data from our civil society partners on the ground. Over the coming months, liberty asia will be updating, improving and enhancing the freedom collaborative platform, and chab dai will continue to work with partners in countries across the globe to implement freedom registry into their national context.
Global Data Dashboard Freedom Collaborative Our new report describes the experiences of four of our member groups and the impact of the freedom collaborative platform on their work, the u.s. bans cotton made by slave labour in china’s xinjiang province, and the iom launches a global network for the protection of migrant workers. The first forum of its kind, and now an independent non profit organization, freedom collaborative has grown into a dynamic space with thousands of users across more than 100 countries and dozens of partnerships. We also shared our data dashboard as an example of a standardized global dataset, and considered how this kind of information could be integrated into corporate risk assessment processes. Freedom collaborative has worked with civil society partners since 2019 to gather a global dataset on human trafficking and exploitation activity. looking at our available information, we can see that the first documented cases of forced online scamming submitted to us date back to 2022. Freedom collaborative connects civil society organizations worldwide, facilitating cooperation, exchange of knowledge, and the expansion of effective models to prevent human trafficking, forced labor, and exploitation. The partnership now sees a critical opportunity to expand participation and scale insights globally in support of efforts to end forced labour by 2030, and hopes more stakeholders will join as it advances towards its 2026 development phase, the report says. The white paper draws on findings from the global data partnership against forced labour, a multi stakeholder initiative of which freedom collaborative is a member.
