The case study presented in this paper shows that well logs interpretation workflow steps such as calculation of clay volume, porosity, mineral volumes, water and hydrocarbon saturations, net & pay thickness, as well as the presentation of results through integrated plots, charts or statistical analyses can be easily accomplished using python. This work aims to analyze and study the bit performance in directional oil wells which leads to get experience about the drilled area by monitoring bit performance and analyzing its work. Visualising well log data is at the heart of petrophysics, with log plots being one of the most common display formats. the welly library allows fast and easy generation of well log plots. Wireline logging is performed by lowering a “logging tool” or a string of one or more instruments on the end of an electrical cable (wireline) into the well and recording downhole data.
