Illinois Valley Community College Home Ivcc Get set is a college prep experience that introduces students to what they can expect when they come to ivcc. this program is designed for any student who feels they need to build their knowledge of how college works. Illinois valley community college’s get set program is a free, one week course designed to help new and returning students build college readiness through skills like time management, note taking and using campus technology.
Home Ivcc The “get set” initiative takes place from july 28 through august 1 at ivcc. “get set” students become familiar with the campus environment, learn how to locate resources and support, or interpret textbooks and schedule formats, and develop diverse learning strategies.
