Gastronomy Heritage Project Meeting Milltown Heritage Group Milltown national school are making good use of the 20 chromebooks they recently bought that assist pupils continue their learning. Galway county heritage office, in conjunction with ican are working with local heritage groups and schools in the collation of our online gastronomical heritage. we need your help to gather information in relation to our local food heritage. Heritage groups from kilerrerin [sic], milltown and skehana were among those to gather at claregalway castle for the launch of galway’s gastronomic history project, which is a website that showcases a wide range of information on the gastronomic history of the region. Galway county county were commended for galway’s gastronomy heritage project by chambers ireland. this achievement includes work carried out by heritage groups and schools throughout the county.
