Android Lollipop Preference Stack Overflow I'm trying to create a custom preference that takes up the entire height of the current preferencescreen. my preference is conceptually similar to the wi fi selection screen. it asynchronously loads data and adds it to a listview of possible options. I will discuss how you can achieve various levels of full screen experience in you activity. i will also show how to toggle the bars (navigation and status bars) in and out on user taps.

Android Preference Radiogroup Stack Overflow I created a custom dialog preference in my android application, but i can not figure out how to get the dialog which is displayed to span the complete width of the display. image of dialog with too much space on left and right side. i found many proposed solutions to get a normal dialog in full screen mode. I have a preference activity that does the norm addpreferencesfromresource (r.xml.preferences) & setcontentview (r.layout.preferencelayout) everything works fine. what i need to do is open that same preference screen as a window (like an alert dialog) and not a full screen. anyone know how?. This code should fix it. javascript: (function(){ document.queryselector("body").requestfullscreen().then(() => { document.queryselector("body").style.overflow = "auto"; }); } )(); add it to your bookmarks then search and open the bookmark on the webpage you're visiting. How to decide whether i should make a mobile app full screen (hide the system bar)? the system bar is the os information bar on the top. it usually shows time, data and wi fi signal strength, battery percentage, and etc. i know i should make intense action games full screen, but what about other apps?.

The simplest way is to add this code to every activity you want to display on full screen mode, but a better way is to create your custom activity which will be the parent of the rest. our custom activity has to be an open class so we can extend from it later and obviously it has to extend from appcompatactivity. Allow the default media projection behavior (implemented in android 14, api level 34, with createscreencaptureintent()), which enables users to decide whether to share the full screen or a single app window regardless of windowing mode. I have created my login form in xml to my liking and my shared preference does work, but when i add full screen to the java class the app crashes out. here is my code, any help would be thankful.
