Home Food Heritage Foundation We intend to honor not only the foods that sustain us, but also the ancestors who nurtured, domesticated, processed and cooked these foods. the project explores where food history has been made, and spotlights the people who continue to preserve these traditions today. Project sima – sustainable integrated municipal actions project maximizing short term livelihood resilience project responding to the socio economic crisis.
Home Food Heritage Foundation The findings of this study are discussed in the wider context of food security issues related to sustainable food choice, and the role of food as a form of cultural heritage. The safeguarding and promotion of food heritage are often considered as a possible way for achieving social and cultural sustainability objectives. this literature review investigates some of the dynamics underlying the heritagisation of food and explores the risks of this process. Develop a digital platform to showcase the diversity of foodways as living heritage, their connections to sustainable development, and share examples of safeguarding experiences from communities and countries worldwide.
