Csa 2025 Fall Week 11 Frog Song Organics Organic Farm Central Florida Join the csa and you will help support our farm, your table, and if you read the newsletter (does anybody read the newsletter?!) your pantry. we are currently seeding plantings of onions, peppers, tomatoes, and soon brassicas while our perennial crops (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, garlic) start to wake up from their winter sleep. The email said we'd be getting poblano peppers, which i'm used to being less long and skinny. these smell like they could be poblanos. is this just a variant form (it's not like i've seen tons of these, after all)? if not, what are they? dani would like cabbage soup.
Fall Csa Week 5 Monica All i did was cut it in half, scoop out its guts, add a tbsp of butter and a sprinkling of salt, and bake uncovered at 350 for an hour. it was just amazing. so glad my partner in crime hates squash and let me have all of it! this leaves just a few green onions and some garlic left to go this week!. We planted enough squash to weather even a terrible year and have enough good squash to include it in the csa at least a couple of times this season! this week we have a selection of delicata and acorn varieties, and the plan is to have butternut later in the fall (once it has finished curing).
