Fall Share The Cornucopia Farm And Csa Simply put, a csa program is a partnership between farmers and their local community where both parties benefit. our “members” or “shareholders” purchase a farm share in the spring, and in the fall they receive their “share” of fresh, organic produce each week for ten weeks. The team at farmbelly loves sharing boxes of the freshest most beautiful vegetable goodness for your tables each week! our fall csa session runs for 12 weeks, starting the week of september 5th through the week of november 21st.
Fall Csa Share La Baraja Farm Typically the share consists of a box of vegetables, but other farm products may be included. interested consumers purchase a share (aka a "membership" or a "subscription") and in return receive a box (bag, basket) of seasonal produce each week throughout the farming season. Our fall csa is based around the idea that we can still provide you with fresh local produce throughout the fall especially greens! we are dedicated to making sure that every share receives fresh greens every week!. An 8 week fall csa share allows you to enjoy an abundance of winter squash, brussels sprouts, potatoes, and fall greens of all kinds. each pre packed box contains up to 12 items. During fall csa, we ship a small box called a “swap box” with a variety of produce. if your vegetable share happens to contain an item you don’t care for, place it in the labeled “swap box” and pick something else.

The fall share is an extension of our main season veggie csa program. it’s also a great option for prospective members to try out the csa program for just a few weeks. Between the final summer delivery and christmas we offer a fall share which consists of 5 bi weekly deliveries of a ¾ bushel box of late season crops, storage veggies and hardy greens and herbs. The exact share size varies throughout the season, depending on when different vegetables are ready for harvest. all members should bring reusable cloth bags with them to distribution each week. Your csa shares, aka your weekly veggie box, can be picked up at our 2200 philo road location (in the parking lot of st. matthew lutheran church) on thursdays from 3:00 6:00 p.m. during the summer. fall shares are picked up on thursdays from 3:30 5:30 pm.
