Explorers Valley Parent Preschool Explorers is vpp’s outdoor nature program and is taught by credentialed early childhood teachers and a california naturalist. classes are designed for children and their parent or caregiver to learn, grow, and explore the beautiful outdoors together. We are committed to providing each family a positive preschool experience. our philosophy at explorers is to provide an atmosphere that allows the child freedom of choice in a safe, nurturing and happy environment. Preschool & pre k valley parent preschool offers a variety of preschool and pre kindergarten programs for children ages 2 years, 8 months to 5. our play based, parent participation program provides a hands on curriculum that allows children to learn, explore, and discover using all of their senses. Learning through nature some of my favorite childhood memories are of the hours and hours that my best friend and i spent playing in the woods behind my house in new jersey. we’d play witches and mix concoctions of dirt, water, leaves, berries and twigs. we’d hide in the trees, make forts, and play. Vpp explorers generally runs four sessions a school year; fall 1, fall 2, winter, and spring. each session is 6 7 weeks long. in addition, time is offered for preparation, planning, weekly cleaning of supplies, and ongoing teacher development. Explorers nature classes continue through early elementary school! our combo and big explorers classes are perfect for families who homeschool or have preschool, tk, or kindergarten in the morning and want the opportunity to explore in the early afternoon!.
