Experiential Learning Ymca Academy An experiential approach is crucial to the success of our learning community. from hands on lessons in class to activities delivered in situ across the city, ymca academy students receive authentic opportunities to broaden and demonstrate their learning. At the academy, experiential learning takes the form of hands on projects, guest presentations, field trips, and assignments that ask them to study their neighbourhoods and think more deeply about their daily lived experiences.
