Chronic pain lasts longer than three months or the time in which you should have healed. if you have chronic pain, it can occur most days or every day and may last for weeks, months, or even years. it can affect all aspects of daily life, including your mood and relationships. Unlike acute pain, which is temporary, chronic pain can be constant or come and go, often interfering with daily life and affecting your physical and emotional well being. it can stem from an ongoing health condition or persist even after the initial cause has been treated or is no longer present. Chronic pain, sometimes called “chronic pain syndrome” (cps), is often defined as pain that lasts or recurs for more than 3 months. it might be constant, or it could come and go. and there are usually things that make it better or worse. the pain may vary in intensity, from quite mild to very severe. some days, there may be no pain at all. I accept that i won't be happy all the time every day, i take things one day at a time and remember to live for the little things. sometimes that's a nice breeze, a good cup of coffee, a good nap hell even being able to take a satisfying shit lol.
