Error During Kernel Compile Install Kernel Cachyos Forum When i use cachyos kernel compile (in cachyos kernel manager) i am getting missing module errors. i was trying to compile a “rc” version for amd zen4 cpu and nvidia 3090 gpu. I haven't idea how to checking it logs, because in fedora stock kernel it can works properly and error on journalctl not found. if the above doesn't work, please provide the package you are using for vmware so i can troubleshoot the issue, thanks.
Error During Kernel Compile Install Kernel Cachyos Forum Is it possible that this is happening because it tries to install the kernel before the headers? because i am pretty sure you would want to install the headers and then the kernel, not the other way around. For some time, nvidia fails to load with cachy os kernel. the issue has been discussed here and fixed upstream. since updating a few weeks ago, nvidia gpu (gtx 2060) is not working when bootin … yet, when i update garuda, the fix apparently hasn’t taken effect yet. when i update, i get this warning. error!. For me, my problems were fixed with the lts kernel. i had problems with monitor timing out and such, without any errors in the logs. anyway, it seems errors are fixed faster on lts, than they are on the rolling release version. For me the kernel panic doesn’t always happen at the same point in booting. i got to the installer once but the device shutdown before i could start installation.
Newbie Needs Help Installing Cachyos Kernel Kernel Boot Graphics For me, my problems were fixed with the lts kernel. i had problems with monitor timing out and such, without any errors in the logs. anyway, it seems errors are fixed faster on lts, than they are on the rolling release version. Cachyos opens with the installer hello but after choosing the boot manager (several tested) it stops working. sometimes cachyos runs very slowly in one of the above states. Just stumbled across the custom kernel build tool which is a fantastic simplification for building an installing a custom kernel, especially useful as i have a custom patch to disable the proart p16 keyboard oobe state which won’t be mainlined until 6.14 at the end of march.
