Bologna Epidoc Workshop 2019 Eagle Portal This site collects video tutorials and other training resources that can be used to support teaching and learning of epidoc – the use of tei xml for ancient documentary texts such as those on papyri, inscriptions, seals, and other supports. The institute of classical studies supports and contributes to a range of activities on behalf of the epidoc collaborative, including authoring of guidelines and documentation, teaching, training and other events, and the creation of the publication platform efes.
Epidoc Workshop Epidoc workshops have been run on several occasions over the past few years, with the intention of disseminating skills and experience and encouraging discussion on the topic of tei markup for the encoding of epigraphic, papyrological, and other ancient texts.
