In 2018, ΙΚΥ, responding to the increased needs of users in greece, applied to take on the role of national support service for epale in greece.
Epale Iky The state scholarships foundation (iky) acting as the national support service of the epale platform in greece, held the kick off event of the new project in athens, on the 14th of may 2025. The purpose of the conference is to present the results of the epale project (2022 2024), which focused on post lignite regions in greece by implementing initiatives to support the workforce affected economically and socially by the transition away from lignite dependency. The first info day dedicated to the electronic platform for adult learning in europe (epale) was held on tuesday, 21 may 2024, in heraklion, crete.
