Eos Macros For Timecode Learning And Labeling Macro Monday 6
Eos Timecode Companion In this installment, i cover macros for one of the ways that i learn timecode, and label the cues in the process. This playlist includes examples of macros while using the etc eos family of consoles and software.
Macro Monday 6 10 19 As Kat Knits A group for sharing ideas and realised ideas for magic sheets and macros that you find useful on the eos family range of consoles. Could anyone walk me through the process of recording a macro to start timecode i'm working on nomad at the moment, but also use an element 2 and an ion. use case: i'm looking to create a timer in a magic sheet for timing shows. As a guest hose we have a lot of short one offs. i often just set the home preset on my lights and throw down intensity on masters. this macro helps me to record the moving lights and leds without intensity in my home preset 999 after focusing and setting. I'm a lighting designer in college and am looking for any good ideas for macros that i can put on a flash drive to use in all my shows. i work at 3 different theatres in the town i'm in so i would be using these a lot but don't know what all would be the most helpful in programing.

Last week, we created a bunch of cue list data and modified some cue list settings in our process to make a busking template for eos. this week, we will create some macros and a magic sheet. Sometimes it’s really nice to be able to repeat or automate a series of commands. for example; there might be a series of backstage lights that need to be parked when a light board turns on and unmarked when the light board turns off. this would be a great usage of macros. If you select an event list within the show control display, you can press the [learn] hardkey to activate learn mode for that event list. when in learn mode, an event is created with the current list time whenever a cue is activated, a submaster bump is pressed, or a macro is run. The eos family console programming level 4 workbook is designed for proficient users familiar with eos family terminology and console layout, aiming to enhance their programming speed and efficiency.
