Emoncms Sync Issue For Newbie Getting Started Openenergymonitor I’ve setup up the inputs and feeds and this is all working fine (getting the data online and local). however, i don’t believe the sync is working as i get blank values, and nothing in inputs or dashboards. i’ve amended the config file with the read write api and the feeds and blank inputs appear. Emoncms is an open source web application for processing, logging and visualising energy, temperature and other environmental data and is part of the openenergymonitor project.
Emoncms Sync Issue For Newbie Getting Started Openenergymonitor I am having some issues with the sync process. the error reads “ emoncms sync service is not running, please start the service to enable feed syncing.” seems to have been doing this for a little bit but i have been away and not noticed until today. i checked the forum but only see some legacy posts that seem less relevant. As most seem to use emoncms.org as a backup sharing mechanism (though that’s only the impression i get from the forums, you must have a better idea from server use and the number of accounts vs. sales of emonpi’s & esp’s), i don’t see waiting a minute as being a big problem. I have noticed that some sites tend to lag (likely with a weaker cellular connection) and i have to manually restart sync on the system information page to get it to catch up. The sync module can be used instead of the emonhub emoncms http interfacer that posts data to the remote server. input processing only needs to be configured once on the local emonpi base as it’s the resulting feed data that gets uploaded and replicated to the remote server.
