An image steganography technique that combines cryptography (ecc), compression, image enhancement technique, genetic algorithm (ga) and implemented in matlab ® is presented. secret data is compressed through arithmetic coding and encrypted with secret keys generated using ecc. It allows secret information to be embedded within cover images in a way that is imperceptible to the human eye, enabling covert communication and securing transmission channels in scenarios where traditional encryption alone may be less effective or more vulnerable.
