Ema Virtual Power Plants A virtual power plant (vpp) is a network of decentralised, distributed energy resources (ders) that are aggregated and managed like a conventional large power generation plant. Our project, titled the truevpp sandbox, will serve as a living testbed for virtual power plant innovation. running over two years, the sandbox will test the technical and operational capabilities of vpps in providing energy and ancillary services to singapore’s grid.
