Elders Flight Flightlineweekly After an uncertain start due to inclement weather, the 2025 edition of the elders flight proceeded without a hitch on tuesday, as the clouds lifted and hundreds of elderly people took to the air for the first time at krugersdorp’s jack taylor airfield. The elders flight 2025 celebrated our senior citizens with a day of joy, dignity, and unforgettable memories. thank you to every volunteer, pilot, sponsor, and photographer who helped make this special event take flight. together, we honor the generations who came before us.

On 18 november 2025, the quiet skies over krugersdorp’s jack taylor airfield (fakr) were filled with wings, cheers and smiles, as hundreds of senior citizens from across gauteng were given a once in a lifetime opportunity to sample the joys of flight first hand. The elders flight 2025 brought together more than 500 senior citizens and 20 military veterans for a day they will never forget. many of these honoured guests had never flown before, simply because life’s circumstances placed such experiences out of reach. on this special day, that changed. Elders flight 2025 is a unique initiative honouring senior citizens and military veterans with a once in a lifetime flight experience. on november 18, over 500 underprivileged seniors and 20 military veterans will take to the skies for a day of restoration and unity.
