Eci Day 2023 Ecas As one of the european citizens’ initiative (eci) permanent partners, we attended the 2023 edition of the eci day on june 8, 2023. the eci is a unique supranational political innovation and constitutes an important tool that encourages participatory democracy. On 8 june, the european economic and social committee hosted the 2023 edition of its annual european citizens’ initiative (eci) day, providing a platform to engage with high level institutional representatives, civil society organisations and eci organisers and supporters.

We are announcing our ecas awards 2023! with the european parliament elections around the corner, we want to hear your thoughts on how to increase political participation. Over the course of 2023, ecas operated the platform on a daily basis and implemented all the activities set out in the work plan, together with its subcontractors, democracy international and promedia productions. June 8th is the 2023 edition of the eci day organised by the european economic and social committee.
