Organised by apl’s professor hyunkook lee – the brains behind the virtuoso binaural translation software – and others, the event took place at lyndhurst hall, air studios, london and was attended by several high profile guests from the worlds of immersive audio and orchestral recording. The echo project recognises the importance of this crucial first stage of immersive music production. therefore, we invited volker bertelmann (hauschka)—a film music composer, pianist, and academy award winner known for his complex textural style and prepared piano—to collaborate with us.
