Easo Training And Learning Strategy European Union Agency For Asylum Easo is already implementing innovative training and learning methodologies by making extensive use of blended learning (e learning and face to face) and now the plan is to expand on the job coaching, peer learning and mobility learning programmes. Through the provision of training and learning opportunities, easo will contribute to the development of knowledge, skills, responsibility and autonomy of asylum and reception officials, upholding european quality standards and guidelines, and strengthening the overall implementation of the ceas.

With the implementation of the easo training and learning strategy (hereinafter the ‘strategy’), easo is committed to supporting member states in providing training for officials within their national administrations and national authorities responsible for asylum and reception matters. This is a framework by which the extensive mapping of job tasks for asylum officials and the identification of the knowledge, skill, responsibility and autonomy necessary to perform these job tasks (occupational standards) allows for the alignment of the required learning (educational standards).
