Fluidity Consent Culture In this paper, we aim to 1) characterize how moving from a stationary to a dynamic consent framework affects the requirement of informed consent and 2) appraise whether the modern implementations of dynamic consent satisfy the requirements of informed consent. Further long term investigations are necessary to explore whether participants want to and do change their consent over time, as well as the impact of dynamic consent on participant privacy. In bdsm dynamics, emotional fluidity can be essential for understanding and negotiating power dynamics, boundaries, and consent. dominants and submissives may need to navigate intense emotional states such as vulnerability, trust, fear, and arousal.

Consent flow dynamics refers to the ongoing process of negotiating, understanding, and validating consent within interpersonal relationships, particularly in contexts involving sexual activity, bdsm, and kink. Relationship fluidity frameworks refer to conceptual models that recognize and embrace the dynamic nature of relationships, particularly in the context of consensual non monogamy (cnm), polyamory, and other diverse relationship styles. These agreements are designed to accommodate changes in dynamics, feelings, and desires within the relationship, promoting open communication and consent among all parties involved. In this paper, we identify two versions of this argument—an information focused version and a control focused version—and then argue that both fail to establish the moral superiority of dynamic over broad consent.
