D Hey guys, we are shaving the door handles and removing the wind wing windows on my liitle bros 1972 nova and are going to be installing door poppers and electric locks. we have never done this sort of thing before and were wondering what all is required to do this. So, something pretty popular maybe a 12 bolt chevy or a ford 9"? i've been digging a little bit on the ford 8.8" but i'm unsure if there are any applications out there that can work. Chevy nova ii badge, any interest? motor, transmission , cross member connection. anyone know where i can find a '62 chevy ii pitman arm? how to remove oil pan? will this posi unit work in my nova? how can i be sure i bought a posi diff.? how to build a 800 horse power 383 stroker for a chevy nova? vortec heads with flattops,compression problems?. There is room inside the door panels on the 69 79 nova's to add door lock actuators to pop open the doors and if you do it right, you can add brackets off of the original latch to mount the actuators directly to them and not have to make things work while it's all inside the doors. With the door striker adjusted as far back as it can go, the door still sticks out 2 3mm. the strickers do not seem to be worn out causing any slop. before installing the door weather stripping it closed slightly past flush so i know i am not binding or catching on anything.
