Developing Members Resources Asif This project will provide members with an improved and more cohesive set of tools to assist you with fundraising; governance; lobbying and advocacy; communications and social media, as well as setting up a new organisation. The african sovereign investors forum is a multilateral platform that launched in june 2022 with 10 founding members and has since expanded to include 16 sovereign investors from across the continent.
Members Resources Asif The forum helped bolster strategic partnerships to facilitate the pooling of financial and technical resources to drive investment in sectors critical to africa’s development such as climate resilient energy, infrastructure, healthcare, technology, and agriculture. Investors forum (asif) is holding its 4th annual meeting in 2025. the annual meeting is an opportunity for asif’s members to gather and hold asif’s annual council meeting (cm) to discuss the initiative’s strategic orientations as well. In addition to sound project preparation based on international best practices, asif aims to provide on the ground knowledge and sourcing capabilities, scale and diversification global investors are looking for when considering the african continent as an investment destination. The forum aimed to strengthen strategic partnerships, pool financial and technical resources, and drive investment in sectors critical to africa's development, including climate resilient energy, infrastructure, healthcare, technology, and agriculture.

The summit concluded with the formation of three specialist working groups to drive forward outcomes in data infrastructure, agricultural development, and climate finance. Asif 2025 expanded its reach with the addition of ghana’s petroleum fund and zimbabwe’s mutapa investment fund, raising membership to 17 countries. this growing coalition reflects a deepening belief that africa’s transformation must be driven from within, using its own capital as leverage. The sovereign wealth funds and african investors have been aware of the importance of attracting international capital to finance the growth of the continent, resulting in this alliance. asif is a platform dedicated to project development and investment promotion. He expressed the hope that asif would attract significant transactions to mobilise the resources required to drive economic transformation across africa, forge impactful partnerships and build a sustainable future.
