News Ohio High School Robotics Team Qualifies For Robotics World The motor city alliance provides stem development for detroit students in elementary, middle and high school via robotics competition through first robotics. read more. The theme of this year’s competition was “reefscape,” focusing on ocean preservation. teams were tasked with collecting coral (white pipes) and placing them on four levels of a reef, harvesting algae (teel balls) on their processors and nets, and hanging their robots on barge cages. After an incredible showing at the state competition, this group of 33 dedicated students from our robotics engineering center of detroit (recd) will now compete against teams from around the globe. This event counted towards team 2224's district ranking points for 2025. a summary of district rankings points earned specifically at this event is shown here.
