Design Bridge And Partners Inspired by the visual language of protesting and the grassroots movement shelter came from, we introduced an aggressive red brush stroke visual language. it’s designed to disrupt and represent their positive presence. “the bridge” homeless assistance center in downtown dallas is no longer considered just the standard bearer for homeless center design in the united states, but it is now the world’s model for.

Design Bridge And Partners Shelter It’s designed to give shelter the power to build a movement, to stand alongside those who need help, a call to action that no government and politicians can ignore. using the visual language of protest, the identity is a symbol of a red arrow, in a font created from a red brush stroke. In addition to the bridge, overland partners architects designed haven for hope, a 37 acre, one stop homeless assistance campus located just west of downtown san antonio. Located on a 3.41 acre site, the project's central themes are sanctuary, light and sustainability. facing downtown, the translucent exterior fills the dormitories with abundant natural light by day, and illuminated at night, serves as a beacon of light and hope to the city's homeless. With our design, we aimed to not only create a facility that provides the most basic human need, shelter, but to also create a space that encourages and welcomes outside organizations, volunteers and donors to provide the helping hands that our homeless population needs.
