Fortunately, i’m happy to admit i was wrong about this one. without a doubt, dead cells provided me with one of the most memorable and addicting platforming experiences i’ve ever had. i’ll say right off the bat that the traits that have been used to describe the game are completely accurate. Dead cells has robust dna. this is an action platformer with castlevania’s intricate environments and gothic bestiary, wed to dark souls’ exploratory structure and sense of risk. Here's some good setups i'd recommend for each color: brutality: blood sword, throwing knife bloodthirsty shield, sinew slicer, and cleaver. open wounds is a great mutation as it speeds up the bleed stacking and you can also swap out either of the skills with knife dance.
