Why The Data Journey Manifesto Datakitchen Following the success of the inaugural 2018 data4good conference, more than 20 social sector support organisations and charities came together to host a new event from 10 12 may 2021. the data4good festival showcased more than 70 organisations sharing stories of using data to improve their impact. Bachelor students from across europe will come together at this festival to exchange ideas, tackle data challenges, and work on solutions for societal issues using data driven approaches. registration is open until december 6. Last weekend, the hertie school hosted the third edition of the data4good festival, and what unfolded was a masterclass in what happens when you combine technical skills with a fierce sense of purpose. The data4good festival is centered on data challenges for the common good bringing together bachelors students from across europe, fostering creativity, collaboration, and innovative solutions to address pressing societal issues using data driven approaches. We’re happy to welcome more than 70 participants from nine countries to the hertie school data science lab for a 3 day journey of innovation and collaboration! 🌍 💡 highlights of the day. In 2024, we successfully launched our first data4good festival with incredible results. we brought together over 150 students from 15 countries representing 50 universities, with 36 teams developing projects that addressed urban mobility and missing migrants problems.
