Customer Groups Asap Vanco Customer groups are a way of categorizing students into groups for reporting, discounting, analysis, grant reporting, etc. in asap version 2, they used to be called student types. A customer group is a collection of people that you group together to take advantage of features in asap. use customer groups for things such as sending emails, offering discounts, priority registration, reporting, and analysis. Listed alphabetically by last name, the report shows each student and which customer group (s) that student belongs to. you see a total number of customer groups for each student plus you see total students in each group (based on that enrollment date range).
