Csos Capacity Building 6th Training Programming Capacity Project The training manual is hoped to be an information resource for development actors who are engaged in capacity building, women empowerment and organizational development. To formulate a project that analyses the roles and needs of women and men, and addresses any gender inequalities so that women and men can equally access, equally participate in and equally benefit from the resources, services, capacity building and other activities offered by the project. A series of courses developed by un women in partnership with the peace operations training institute aims to raise awareness, build capacities and promote the implementation of un security council resolutions on women, peace and security. This project cycle management (pcm) toolkit is a practical guide for csos on how to design, develop, manage, monitor and evaluate development projects. it has been developed as guidance material to support csos in nigeria.
Csos Capacity Building 6th Training Programming Capacity Project A series of courses developed by un women in partnership with the peace operations training institute aims to raise awareness, build capacities and promote the implementation of un security council resolutions on women, peace and security. This project cycle management (pcm) toolkit is a practical guide for csos on how to design, develop, manage, monitor and evaluate development projects. it has been developed as guidance material to support csos in nigeria. Integrating gender into the project cycle means taking gender into account at every stage, from identification to monitoring and evalua tion. see also appendix 1, which summarises the approach and tools for integrating gender into projects. During the annual project evaluation, the capacity building programme participants and csos were interviewed to collect their training needs and desiderata for a final cycle to be delivered, to reinforce their competences and tools in view also of the project closure. Training strategy to develop civil society organisation (cso) user centered toolkit focusing on gender equality (women and girls). A gender inclusive language will be employed and the resources will use learnings from existing materials dedicated to csos working in contexts of conflict and humanitarian crises (produced by national and international actors such as un women).
