Covid 19 Projects Research Sdsu In dozens of projects totaling more than $8.6 million in funding researchers are analyzing how covid 19 operates and spreads, how the pandemic affects our mental health and how communities are coping in the midst of crisis. Using big data, social media, and maps to monitor covid 19 outbreaks in san diego: with the collaborations from the faculty, staff, and students at san diego state university and our partners in san diego, we are glad to announce the establishment of this research hub for covid 19.

This project seeks to determine factors that influenced blood glucose control during the covid 19 pandemic among patients with type 2 diabetes receiving care from a federally qualified health center. Our projects have been supported by several federal agencies, including dod darpa, national science foundation (nsf), and office of naval research (onr). the laboratory for pathogenesis of clinical drug resistance and persistence is located in alvarado medical center near san diego state university. The initial covid 19 lockdown motivated dr. crespo to start researching how covid 19 disproportionately impacted minority populations. since the start of the covid 19 pandemic, dr. crespo has been working on a variety of covid 19 related projects.
