Home Contemplative Network The contemplative pedagogy network is a digital resource that provides a space for the exploration of ideas and experiences of working with contemplative pedagogy. The community of contemplative education (cce) was initiated by mind & life europe in 2018 with the goal of creating a sustainable and vibrant community of leading pioneers and experts to enhance collective learning and implementation around contemplative education in europe to cultivate human flourishing through education. The contemplative pedagogy network (cpn) has evolved since a meeting in london in 2014 of six educators, trainers and lecturers during which we discussed our shared interest in contemplative practice in higher and further education settings. About purpose of the network to bring together scholars and practitioners engaged in diverse formal and non formal educational settings to support members in engaging in contemplative practices and related dialogue in building communities of practice within canadian educational contexts.

Cpn Community Contemplative Pedagogy Network The contemplative pedagogy network (cpn) has evolved since a meeting in london in 2014 of six educators, trainers and lecturers during which we discussed our shared interest in contemplative practice in higher and further education settings. About purpose of the network to bring together scholars and practitioners engaged in diverse formal and non formal educational settings to support members in engaging in contemplative practices and related dialogue in building communities of practice within canadian educational contexts. Its aim is to promote and support contemplative education through an international network that facilitates the exchange of practices, knowledge, and resources among scholars, educators, and professionals. Contemplative outreach is a spiritual network designed to nurture the practice of centering prayer and to help build and facilitate prayer groups . we also practice and teach lectio divina, the slow meditative reading of the scriptures. Hybrid program designed to offer individuals a deeper engagement in the contemplative life, as well as providing training and experience in spiritual direction. this 15 month program is grounded in christian contemplative disciplines. it is designed for those who hear a call to spiritual direction. Contemplative pedagogy shifts the focus of teaching and learning to incorporate ‘first person’ approaches which connect students to their lived, embodied experience of their own learning.
