Due to the tireless work of scholars, activists, and educators, consent has become the primary criterion for evaluating whether sexual encounters fall short of our ethical norms. This study addresses the prominent gap in literature and practice by exploring the facilitators and barriers to informed consent and developing culturally relevant informed consent guidelines in lebanon. The australian government introduced a new national consent framework in january 2024 to support consistent and unified messaging of sexual consent to young people and promote healthy sexual relationships.
