Completed This Commission Piece R Lettering Lettering is 'the act, art or process of inscribing or writing words on something'. and it is also just awesome. if you create your own or find awesome ones out in the wild, throw them up and let it be ridiculed or revered!. But, far better than a completed lettering piece are the lessons learned from sketching out this verse. this is the most basic of commands for the believer, but i know it’s one we need to be reminded of quite often.

As a lefty, i try to letter big pieces backwards to avoid smudges. if you look at the video on this post (3rd pic) you can see how i have my sketch and then i fill in the letters backwards. The darkness of the dark red in "geography" stands out a bit too much for my taste against the peachier color of the rest of the piece, and because of this, it becomes a bit difficult to read because my eye jumps directly from geography to understanding, and then back up to the study.
