After firmware upgrade to 3.0 compass was completely wrong (by almost 180 degrees). we did somehow managed calibration in flight, with very steep turns. after that it was 10 20 degrees off, but generally working. i did try now to calibrate it on the ground. I tried to do my compass calibration today but found out that i can only go in two directions. north seems to work, but all the other directions point west on the calibration screen. We did fix some compass related issues in that release. if that doesn't fix it, and you're sure there's no power ferrous metal around the magnetometr, give tech suppport a call or email.
