Conduct Community Standards The behavior assessment and intervention team (bait) reviews behavioral incidents and ensures a systematic response to students whose behavior may be disruptive or harmful to themselves or the ut dallas community, and assists in promoting the health, safety and welfare of students and other members of the ut dallas community. The community living standards apply to all students in on campus residential communities within housing & residential life (including first year residences, second year residences, program houses, and upper level communities) and the west campus house system.
Community Standards Student Life Students are responsible for knowing their rights and responsibilities as stated within the community standards and bear responsibility for their own conduct. Residents are expected to actively engage with others, participate in events, attend floor and community meetings, and collaborate with residence life and housing staff to help foster a welcoming and positive community within the hall. The director of community life, in consultation with the vice president of student life, will have primary responsibility for complaints related to the general community standards. Recognizing that students make mistakes, we strive to help them acknowledge their personal responsibilities as members of the university community through fairly and consistently upholding the student code of conduct. The university has established the code of student conduct to promote the well being, honor and dignity of all who live, learn and work in our educational community.
