Community Knowledge Matters Together, we explored how communities can lead research to make better change locally and build better evidence for national policy around health, climate and democratic processes. Community knowledge matters is a new network bringing together people interested in community led research shaping practice & policy change in mental health and wellbeing in the highlands & islands and beyond.

Join Us On Thursday For The First Community Knowledge Matters Network Curious about the community knowledge matters network? and want to find out about the bursaries for our gathering?. Community knowledge matters believes that more equitable partnerships between communities, researchers and decision makers can support better wellbeing, and that all forms of knowledge and experiences around mental health should be used to inform best practice and policy changes. The network will build collective voice and capacity through a programme of activities – including network events, collation of resources and funded training opportunities – working together to support more community knowledge represented at a systemic level. Community knowledge matters resources. our key resources include videos of community led research spotlights which can be found: conversation stations including talks from the discovery college, garelochhead support trust, the grab trust and equal adventure. Community knowledge matters is a new network bringing together people interested in community led research shaping practice & policy change in mental health and wellbeing in the highlands & islands and beyond. A network for members of community groups, researchers and decision makers working together to support change at a systemic level, with a special emphasis on including groups who are typically under represented in research.
