Mars Attacks Finale Youtube Mars attacks is one of my favorites. the topps card series it was based on is legendary and tim burton played into that off putting disturbingly funny series quite well. As with every tim burton movie, mars attacks! gets a little too cute for its own good at times. it is stuffed to the gills with cameos for one thing. some work, like tom jones, and some don't, like danny devito. i usually like danny, but his role in this was way too pointless and padded. Mars attacks! is wacky, carefree and impulsive, with a pitch black sense of humor and a penchant for cutting off primary characters' heads (or turning them into glowing skeletons, as it were) well before their stories have climaxed. “mars attacks!” has the look and feel of a schlocky 1950s science fiction movie, and if it’s not as bad as a wood film, that’s not a plus: a movie like this should be a lot better, or a lot worse.
