3rd Molina Agro Symposium Crop Resilience Ingrentia Our mission is to understand the dynamics of plants, soil, and microbe interactions such that we can predictively manipulate the plant microbe soil system to enhance crop resiliency. This booklet, currently in french only, presents an overview of the project portfolio of the mcknight foundation’s global collaboration for resilient food systems (crfs) program in west africa, as of 2026.

Crfs Collaborative Crop Research Program History
Crfs Collaborative Crop Research Program History

Crfs Collaborative Crop Research Program History The three synergistic ccrp research efforts, matrix, interact, and inroot, collectively represent an unparalleled opportunity to deeply interrogate the plant microbe communities of an important commodity crop (wheat) and a model crop (lotus japonicus). The collaborative crop resilience program (ccrp) is a research program focused on understanding the complex interactions between wheat (triticum aestivum) and bacteria, fungi, and viruses. The global collaboration for resilient food systems (crfs)—formerly called the collaborative crop research program (ccrp)—works to ensure a world where all have access to nutritious food that is sustainably produced by local people. Inroot uses interdisciplinary approaches connecting plant and bacterial genetics, protein biochemistry, analytical chemistry and plant physiology with bacterial and plant population biodiversity studies and advanced modeling.

Contribute to collaborative crop resilience program ccrp2023 development by creating an account on github. The collaborative crop resilience program is thus a completely new approach to further develop agriculture by focusing not on the crops but on the microorganisms around them. specifically, this involves examining up to 1000 species of bacteria and analysing how they interact with a specific crop. Climate action we drive science, innovation, and collaboration to transform food, land, and water systems for a resilient, net zero, and equitable future. Interact is a project under the collaborative crop resiliency program (ccrp), together with the projects matrix and inroot, all funded by the novo nordisk foundation.
