Cognitive Assessment Arrowsmith The arrowsmith cognitive questionnaire is a quick way to get a glimpse into the strengths and weaknesses of your cognitive functions. by answering a series of questions about how you operate in different situations, you will receive a report highlighting areas of strength and areas of challenge. Arrowsmith program is a series of cognitive training exercises and assessments, able to identify and strengthen 19 different cognitive functions. rather than teach students curriculum, our students engage in cognitive exercises to strengthen critical areas of the brain related to learning.
Cognitive Assessment Arrowsmith An arrowsmith participant can take part in one to three hours of daily cognitive exercise as a part time student. as with the full time program, a student will required to undergo a comprehensive cognitive assessment to ensure that their program time is spent on the most important cognitive areas. The arrowsmith assessment evaluates fundamental cognitive functions using a 12 point rating scale, assessing cognitive, academic, and social performance. it can also diagnose any underlying factors contributing to learning challenges, inconsistent performance, or social and emotional issues. Our staff can conduct an assessment in person at arrowsmith school in toronto, or online. many students benefit from the opportunity to complete the assessment in person, while others, given the distance from the school, prefer our online option.
