Elementary Math Project Coast Metro Resources A team of teachers from the lmmc collaborated over the summer of 2022 using suggested elements from the coast metro consortium to develop a shared vision for elementary mathematics education, grounded in the bc k 7 mathematics curriculum. Developed for bc teachers by bc teachers (math coordinators helping teachers from lower mainland), this site provides teachers many kinds of support for teaching the bc k 7 mathematics curriculum.

K 7 resources focused on the different math curricular content areas and the corresponding curricular competencies collected and shared by teachers from bc under the coast metro elementary math project umbrella. Participants will engage in mathematical thinking, problem solving, connection making and relationship seeking in mathematics. this series provides an opportunity to build an elementary mathematics community of educators across the coast metro region.
