Classroom Ponderings Place Value Pumpkin Patch This file is a fun way to celebrate the fall season as well as investigate the concept of place value up to hundreds. this file can be used as a "read the room" activity or a simple matching numbers and base ten cards. The first one is a fold and flip book where students can fold, then snip on the dotted line, write a number in the pumpkin, then record a different way to show that number. i will leave this up to the students as to whether they will use expanded notation, base 10 or another way to show the number.
